Snow? Frost?

October26

Two days ago we had a nice dusting of snow on Bogus Basin. Last night it dropped to about 29 here in town. Blue skies, red, gold, bronze leaves…….everywhere. My time of year.

Dinner tonight: roasted, cubed butternut squash (the fresh cubed squash was at Costco, no less), red onion, tossed with olive oil, salt and pepper and served with parmesan and penne. I can’t wait!

We are ahead of you in the progress towards winter. Most of the leaves have already fallen, and we’ve already had a low of 23F, and 25F another time. Tonight it will probably just hit freezing, though I did see snow flurries this morning.
