Tonight’s dinner by my own hands (ok, and so big momma Nature had something to do with it):
Warm, just plucked from the vine, two fat heirloom tomatoes, chunked and placed atop 4 slices of fresh mozzerella, drizzled with white balsamic vinegar, olive oil, spanked with coarse kosher salt, fresh ground pepper, and accompanied by a piece of rustic crusty bread. Ohhhhh, and torn and strewn atop the tomatoes: warm fresh basil leaves.
104.8 in the shade. Yes, it is a DRY heat. And another day in Paradise.
